Just solid hot sauce, with fresh pepper flavor. Very versatile. Good heat, but not overwhelming.

The sweetness of honey balances the earthy tang of this Japanese inspired flavor excursion.
6 ounces frozen edamame in the shell
1 Tablespoon red miso
½ teaspoon rice vinegar
½ - 1 teaspoon Gindo’s Miso Wasabi Hot Sauce (can also sub Honey Habanero)
½ teaspoon mirin
½ teaspoon honey
¼ teaspoon sesame oil
Sea Salt to taste
Place edamame in a small saucepan with ¼ cup of water and steam until tender, approximately 5 minutes.
Using a small mixing bowl, combine miso, rice vinegar, choice Gindo’s Hot Sauce, mirin, honey, and sesame oil and whisk until well combined. Toss edamame in the sauce to coat and sprinkle with sea salt to taste.
