Gindo's cheese dip is the perfect companion to our beer bread. Creamy, savory with the perfect touch of Gindo's original heat. Even though this dip was designed to work with our Beer Bread recipe, feel free to use beer bread kits, regular toasted bread, pretzels or breadsticks! Let the dip sit in the fridge for 2 hours before warming up for better developed flavor.
Reconstitute tomatoes in hot water, remove and squeeze dry using a paper towel. Then julienne and cut into fine strips.
Combine remaining ingredients, minus tomatoes and bacon bits. Blend well at low speed.
Once blended add tomatoes and bacon bits and slowly mix by hand using a spoon or whisk.
When ready to serve, garnish with shredded cheese and heat through in oven at 350º until cheese begins to brown.
Dip with bread or chips and enjoy!
