It's a delicious appetizer that combines the creaminess of ricotta cheese with the sweet and spicy notes of Gindo's Hot Honey. Quick and easy to prepare, this dish is perfect for cheese plates, bruschetta, or as a standalone snack. The smooth texture of the whipped ricotta paired with the unique kick of hot honey creates a mouthwatering treat that will impress your guests. Serve with your favorite grilled bread or crackers for a delightful contrast.
1.5 cups ricotta cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
¼ teaspoon sea salt (or to taste)
1 tablespoon Gindo's Hot Honey (or to taste)
½ tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
Grilled bread or crackers (for serving)
In a food processor or bowl with hand mixer, combine the ricotta cheese, olive oil, Gindo’s Hot Honey, lemon juice and sea salt. Blend the mixture until it is smooth and creamy.
Taste the whipped ricotta and adjust hot honey and sea salt if needed.
Transfer the whipped ricotta to a serving dish. Drizzle with olive oil or hot honey on top.
