Our ginger lemon ramen is exactly what you need on a cold day. Bright and accurately spiced, we challenge you to eat just one bowl! Garnish with chopped green onions after serving for added flavor.
6 oz ramen noodles ( 2 - 3oz packets )
2 Qt chicken stock
2 Tbsp minced garlic & shallot
1/2 red onion chopped
2 tsp shaved ginger
1/2 tsp sea salt
cracked pepper to taste
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
2 Tbsps Gindo’s Jalapeno Poblano
2 Tbsp butter unsalted
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 green onions chopped
1 Tbsp lemon juice
4 carrots chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
4 C fresh spinach or bok choi
Bring olive oil and 1 Tbsp butter to a simmer over medium heat. Then add onion, 1 Tbsp garlic & shallot, 1 Tbsp Gindo's Green, 1/2 Tbsp ginger and simmer until lightly browned
Stir in carrots and celery, reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
Add greens, remaining butter, ginger, garlic and shallot. Stir, cover and simmer for additional 15 minutes.
Add chicken stock, lemon juice, 1 Tbsp Gindo's Green and turmeric. cover and simmer for 20 minutes. During final 5 minutes of simmer add ramen noodles.
Remove lid and taste, add sea salt and cracked pepper if needed. Serve and enjoy!
