Gindo's Red Turkey Chili

Gindo's Red Turkey Chili

  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 3 Tbsp. Gindo's Original
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 - 15 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 2 - 15 oz cans of kidney beans
  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 oz. red wine (a shot glass)
  • 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 cups water
  • salt to taste


  1. Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large pot and then add 1/2 Tbsp. garlic and shallots. Simmer for 5 minutes and add 1 Ib. ground turkey. 
  2. Season ground turkey with 1 Tbsp. chili powder, garlic, shallots, and salt. Brown meat for 15 minutes. After browning for 7 minutes, add Gindo's Original and red wine and continue to simmer for remainder of 15 minutes.
  3. Once meat has been browned, add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. 
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes. Add additional seasoning and salt to taste.
