We're very excited about this month's featured hot sauces. Gindo has been wanting to create a Truffle Parmesan hot sauce for years, and through the help of Chef Andrew of Craft Urban in Geneva, IL, we were able to source some beautiful winter black truffles.
Since Gindo also likes to work in themes, he thought a Sun-Dried Tomato and Garlic Scape (courtesy of Garlic Breath Organic Farm in Elburn, IL) hot sauce would pair nicely with the Truffle Parmesan to make a warm trio to get you through the bitter cold of winter. All three of these sauces are wonderful to play around with in the kitchen.
From the earthy, pungent, fiery Truffle Parmesan to the zesty and aromatic, slightly citrusy feel of the Garlic Scape, to the rich, sweet, subtly acidic vibrant flavor of the Sun-Dried Tomato sauce, this box could pretty much replace all the spices in your cupboard. Or simply make anything in your fridge taste that much better.
