Gindo has been wanting to create a line of Fish Pepper Hot Sauces since 2015 when he first came across a sample of these beautiful peppers. We became increasingly intrigued and excited about the idea the more we researched the Fish Pepper.

Last year we partnered up with a local farmer to help us make this dream a reality. It is with great pleasure that we introduce you to Gindo's Fish Pepper Hot Sauce Series.

Fish Peppers were once peddled by free African Americans during the 19th Century to seafood houses along the eastern shore, but by the mid 20th century, fish peppers were almost extinct. Luckily an old collector passed some seeds along to his grandson who placed them in the Seed Saver Exchange Yearbook in 1995, making fish peppers available to the public once again.

We want to thank Muirhead Farm in Hampshire, IL for growing these beautiful peppers exclusively for Gindos!

From Gindo's White Fish Pepper, a truly unique milder white pepper hot sauce that will make you feel like you're enjoying a perfect sunset while oceanside at your favorite raw bar.

To Gindo's Green Fish Pepper, a vibrant green sauce that is delicately balanced with subtle briny notes and cuts through rich seafoods, especially shellfish and cream sauces...

And finally, Gindo's Red Fish Pepper. A big sauce with subtle sweetness and tantalizing heat, this sauce holds up to both seafood and rich savory dishes.

These sound amazing. I’ll be ordering them.
Hey Chris,
We go through the honey habanero like water in my family. How about making a larger bottle?😉
Also my family loves Sweet and hot on several different foods. Have you ever made a really sweet hot sauce. Like a sweet sour sauce with heat. I know we would by a lot of it.
